IAESTE Tunisia – Registration deadline extended

We hope you had a great time during your holidays!

 

We wanted to let you know that the registration deadline for our event “The Big South Trip” will be extended to the 7th of January 2023.

This event will take place in the stunning south of Tunisia from the 20th to the 24th of March 2023.Here’s an overview of the event’s itinerary:

 

The first stop on our trip will be Sufetula, one of North Africa’s best-preserved ancient Roman cities. Surrounded by temples, colossal arches, and bath complexes, Sufetula is a testament to an ancient civilization that knew how to live. 

 

We will then visit the Tunisian Grand Erg Oriental, where you’ll get to witness some of the most gorgeous and vast palm Oasis towns, and explore one of the country’s most remarkable and breathtaking settings including isolated Berber villages on hilltops and troglodyte homes dug into the ground to protect against the harshness of the climate, by 4×4 and camels. 

 

Additionally, we’ll search for the Force by exploring the Star Wars filming locations in southern Tunisia, and we’ll end our trip by visiting the charming island of Djerba, which sports a maze of cobblestone streets and a history of ethnic and religious diversity.

It will be the chance for us and all IAESTE members worldwide to meet each other, make friendships and share the best moments in the Tunisian south.

The participation fees are 760 TND (approximately EUR 225), which will cover the costs of the accommodation, transport fees during the trip, activities in the Sahara, and some of the meals. The fees are to be paid in Tunisian Dinars upon arrival to Tunisia.
